Soon, Best Buy will dedicate 8 square feet of floor space to stocking vinyl records in all their stores, after generating surprising sales in a 100 select stores around the country. They will most likely stock remastered and re-released classic albums, and I’m sure a few new releases.
This is kinda cool, and I think the mom and pop shops will have nothing to worry about. BB will only carry limited releases and will be sold at a higher cost, where as the round-the-way spots always have a extensive collection.
Not a bad move Best Buy.
